Sylvia Cook is lucky enough to call the Pacific Northwest home, settling in the Seattle area during her school years. Growing up with a father who was a photographer, she learned to appreciate the great outdoors from an early age. Weekends were spent hiking in the mountains and learning and watching her father take photographs.
There was a natural evolution of her hobby into both a portrait business and selling her fine art photography. Everything in the world around her is inspiring, from the tiniest mushroom in the grass, to the vast landscapes of her travels.
Her goal is to make the viewer feel and appreciate all that there was to see and experience through the lens of her camera.
